Rhinestone Farm is located in beautiful northern Minnesota where the local farmer plants and harvests the cultivated wild rice. Rhinestone Farm has grown and marketed wild rice for over fifteen years.
We take pride in producing this highly nutritional product. Wild rice can be used in salads, meats, dressings, as a cereal or in soups and casseroles.
Basic preparation of wild rice is fairly simple. Combine one cup of wild rice with two and a half cups of water or bouillon in a two quart casserole. Cover and bake in the oven at 350 degrees for forty five minutes or until fluffy. It is now ready to use as you desire or you can freeze some and use it later.
