If you like river fishing this is a great place with a boat launch. At the boat launch you can look directly across to see the Leech Lake River flowing into the Mississippi River. The "Y" is between the larger trees in this picture.
About 50 yards West of the launch is a free camp site. Go down to the river and about 70 feet up river, once the ice melts, is one of the best Spring Perch spots you'll ever fish.
