Ball Club River Bridge. Its about 2 miles east of Ball Club, Minnesota. The Ball Club River flows into Ball Club Lake or out of Ball Club Lake! Yes it changes direction! Mainly because of the out flow from the Lake Winnibigosh (Winnie) Dam that holds Lake Winnibigosh up.
Ball Club Bridge Hwy2 Map
It has a un-mapped boat launch on the South East side that is very popular for Mississippi River access and Western White Oak lake access. Both sides of the bridge are very fishable. The North side great for Northerns and Perch. Ive caught a 39" Northern here. You can walk up stream 80 yards to try for bass. The South side Ive Caught a 25 1/4" Walleye and more than ten Notherns 30+ inches. From here, Cross over the river to the West side and walk South under the BNSF Railroad bridge toward the Mississippi and you can fish another two football Fields walking the river. The resault is usually a Northrern but more often than not, a nice Small Mouth Bass and occasionaly, a nice Large Mouth Bass. This is a great little Bass river. By the Bridge its usually at least 8 feet deep on both sides and I beleive the North side is a foot or two deeper. Pull up, take out the pole and Red Devil, and a catch of some sort is just about garanteed!

You don't need a boat to fish here.
